About
Born to Italian immigrant parents, Rose Sorbara had always thought she was an actor: putting on plays in the neighborhood as a little girl, running through the house singing songs from "Annie," participating in school productions from grammar school through college, her family had strong ideas about her going into the established family fashion business.
Rose graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology with two degrees in Fashion Design and Fabric Styling. With her classmates always wanting to use her as their model, then being recruited by the schools modeling group, she thought this was a lot of fun and began to dream of pursuing modeling and acting full time to see what happens.
A decade and a half later, Rose found herself with three sons, the eldest with Asperger's Syndrome. After overcoming some serious health issues of her own and surviving two spinal cord surgeries to remove benign tumors, she realized just how short life could be. So she lives everyday with the motto: "Enjoy life, it's not a dress rehearsal!" So just: "Go for it and follow that dream!"
